Post-partum hemorrhage (PPH) is a leading cause of maternal mortality and morbidity around the world [1]. Accurate assessment of blood loss is important for conducting research on the effectiveness of different approaches to the prevention and treatment of PPH
Our calibrated under-buttocks drapes are designed to measure the postpartum blood loss in a calibrated pouch. The calibrated drape is important in childbirth to determine when blood loss has passed 500 mL or 1000 mL and is classified as postpartum hemorrhage.
